TO ALL MY FANS. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!!
Posted By Anusheh Hussain - 1:40 PM Friday 07 April 2006
Harb, he said thank you:-) Now I want you to know that I posted this picture primarily for you (and behind Jasjit's back:-) because you have turned our pig single handedly into a hero
:-)lol

Dear Anusheh,
When I opened the main page of the blog. Two things stood out. 'The Law of Karma' by Anusheh Hussain and the 'happy', 'playful' and as Harb has put it 'contended' image of the (by now, according to Jasjit) infamous pig, by Anusheh Hussain! Hmm...
Thanks for the breather :)

This little piggy looks way too smug!!!
You will be now held singularly responsible for spinning animal karma in all connected to this blog.

jasjit, we all have our layers of animals in us. no doubt now we have transcended them, but perhaps somtimes - and may be because we move in cycles and sometimes again come to a level in some way identical to them - we need to give a bit of manifestation to them as well! so all is as it should be. so again gaj vaj ke bolo " soor ji maharaj ki - Jai". may he tell us the secret of his half an hour long smadhiiiiiiii...

For those of you who may be visiting this thread and wondering what is happening....here's the post which started it all on the previous open thread!!
"Some laughs for the gang!!
IF YOU yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.
(Hardly seems worth it.)
If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.
(Now that's more like it!)
The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the body to squirt blood 30 feet.
(O.M.G.!)
A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes.
(In my next life, I want to be a pig.)
A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves to death. (Creepy.)
(I'm still not over the pig.)
Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories a hour
(Don't try this at home, maybe at work)
The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off.
("Honey, I'm home. What the....?!")
The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human jumping the length of a football field.

Some lions mate over 50 times a day.

Starfish have no brains
(I know some people like that too.)
Polar bears are left-handed.

Hi Surya!
Hey congrats for becoming a mama. I became mashi for the second time. My sis had a baby boy on 30th of March. Heh Heh an addition to my Aries clan.
Just chill (which we all need to with the rising heat in Delhi)! The Blog bus does not require compulsory attendance :)
Well you have chosen the right word. I love being spontaneous and am a very adventurous person.
Harb, Jasjit, Anusheh and Mads,
That pig will soon start speaking in Punjabi so just go easy on him LOL :)

Hey everyone!
Thats a lot of punjabi going on there! But enjoyed it all thoroughly!!
A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO SURYA AND CHAITALI!!!
Its a special feeling :-)

chaitali, yes, i think one already speaking punjabi is enough lol.
and subho, no sat sri akal/thank you to the hero of the thread who gave you so much enjoyment!

Shubz thanks! It's fascinating to watch the baby. The hands, the fingers, the toes... they are all just like an adult's only small in size. Even the lines in the palm of the hands are so well formed.

Good Morning everyone!
Hey Chaitali :-)
I agree with you. I have always found the tinyness of babies the most adorable aspect. Happy maasi-hood! :-)
Posted by
Hey Congratulations Surya and Chaitali
Have fun, being an uncle or aunt is THE best as you can spoil the infanttoddler/child/teenager etc and then hand over responsibility:))

Thanks Mads. I've already been scolded umpteen times by my sis for spoiling my 4 year old niece!
But hey what's a maashi for ;)

Sat Sri akaal Jasjit, Harbji, Anusheh and
Hi everyone on the blog bus!
Gosh! Didn't realize how much I was missing the blog. It has been a true sabbatical, with my laptop also dying on me almost 3 weeks ago; so I have been without access - in the scheme of things..it has been almost a month since I was here and isn't it just so good to be back here..homecoming, truly so. Miss you all and the blog bus!
Incidentally, my nephew who is visiting was showing off his hot bew state of the art laptop with wi-fi and i could not resist looging on to the blog.
Belated new year greetings.. baisakhi, poila baishakh et al...love and prayers for all..
And I am to be a god mother and an aunt again - my dearest friends are expecting a baby - a miracle in itself and my sister, who is expecting her 2nd child after almost 12 years.. so am I excited... both we are praying are daughters.. fingers, toes, eyes crossed.. so I implore you for your prayers and healing...my sis has a very difficult situation and every prayer, each wish will help her through....
Am happily unemployed and it has been an amazing time of self discovery and healing... am almost getting used to this beautiful silence and solitude away from mobile phones and laptops, people and interactions... I had a great time driving on the east coast from Ganjam to the Sunderbans for almost a fortnight living in the jungle..back in Delhi but handicapped until I get e-connected again.. so will see you all in some time again...
leave you with a few lines from Savitri:
"Assent to thy high self; create, endure.
Cease not from Knowledge, let thy toil be vast.
No more can earthly limits pen thy force;
Equal thy work with long unending Time's.
Traveller upon the bare eternal heights,
Tread still the difficult and dateless path
Joining the cycles with its austere curve
measured for man by the initiate gods.
My light shall be in thee, my strength thy force.
Let not the impatient titans drive thy heart,
Ask not the imperfect fruit, the partial prize.
Only one boon, to greaten thy spirit, demand;
Only one joy, only to raise thy kind, desire..."
These lines are dedicated to the blogbus, to all of you, who make such a huge difference in our lives... be there... youb are sorely needed.
Au revoir.
love, laughter and light

Hi Sukanya!
First good wishes to your sister, her health and her coming child. Hope they all keep good health. Not to worry our prayers are with you.
Sunderbans... hmmmm... I've been there too. Had taken one of the launch cruises through the sunderbans. I can totaly relate to what you must have felt there. The river flowing, turning and twisting it's way silently through the dense forest on either side... I had gone there two years back and what peace it had brought to my mind I still can't forget. Though I can't forget the tan either that I had got sitting on the roof of the launch from morining till sunset enjoying the peaceful ride through the forest:)

Thought I'd share this funny joke with all of you.
The Satzang Answering Machine -
Answering Machines of different Enlightened Masters-
Nisargadatta Maharaj -
“Hi! This is Maharaj. I am not home rightnow. But in reality, I have never left. I have been here before you called and will be here after you hang up.”
Ramesh Balsekar –
“Hello! This body-mind organism known as Ramesh is not available rightnow. Looks like that is your destiny. If it is God’s will, your call will be answered.”
Gurdjieff –
“Hello! This is Gurdjieff............STOP!”
Ramana Maharshee –
“My dear! I don‘t know who is calling. But if I were you, I would ask myself - Who am I? When you will find the answer, you won’t need to call me again.”
Zen Master –
“Sitting silently, doing nothing Phone rings, and answering machine starts by itself.”
Gautam the Buddha –
“Life is suffering. To call someone is a suffering. When the person is not there, there’s more suffering. You leave a msg., he doesn’t reply answer your call so there’s even more suffering. Remember! Life is suffering.”
Kiranbhai (a disciple of Osho who generally says that there is no need to do anything. Enlightenment will happen by itself.) –
“Hello! This is Kiranbhai. I am not home righnow. But there is no need to call again, there’s no need to leave a msg. and so there’s no need to for me to call you back also. Infact, if you want to try, there’s no need to pay your phone bill also. Thank you for calling!”
Finally I dialed
Punjaji
but by mistake the line went to Lord Krishna’s residence (the usual phenomenon in India). As we all know Krishna’s famous quote was –
“Whatever happened, happened for good. Whatever is happening, is happening for good and whatever will happen will happen for good. What have you lost that you are cryig for? Whatever you have gained, you have gained here. Whatever you have lost, you have lost here. What belongs to you today, belonged to someone else yesterday and will belong to someone else tomorrow. CHANGE is the eternal rule of life. So don’t focus on the result but do your karma.”
Krishna- (his ans.machine detects wrong nos.automatically.)
“My beloved! Although I am omnipresent, I am not available rightnow. And by the way, you have dialed a wrong number. But no problem. Whatever happened, happened for good. Whatever is happening, is happening for good and whatever will happen will happen for good. Why are you crying since you lost only one rupee. Whatever number you dialed, you dialed it right here. The number which is my today belonged to someone else yesterday and will be someone else’s number tomorrow. CHANGE in the telephone numbers is the eternal rule of Indian telephone exchange. So don‘t worry about the result and just do your karma. Dial the right number.”
Osho-
“ Hello! This is Osho.....Never born, never died. Never picked up a phone. Only kept his answering machine ON. I leave you my dream.....and you leave your msg.after the beep. Yahoo!”

Dear Harb
I knew you would know what was truly behind posting this message.lol Our dear friend was looking a little sad and neglected. Since I am forbidden to mention his name I thought why not try this instead:-)
Posted by
sorry, anusheh, our friend's presence is so overwhelming at the top that i forgot to appreciate your satzang. it was an interesting read.
and just to tell you that your remedy of backpain works like a miracle. i tried it today, first on my left hand and then right. though i felt it worked more on my right hand. thank you very much.
